If you would have asked me a few years ago about touring the nation again, I would have called you crazy. But, here we are and I couldn't be happier about it. I spent a big part of my younger years in the music industry and on the road. I was burnt, but this journey has breathed a new fire into my thoughts of the road. We are all really enjoying our time and it's a true pleasure to meet so many talented, friendly photographers. I knew this adventure wouldn't be easy, there are many challenges to pull off 6 consecutive workshops, nevertheless I'm very proud of my team. We're making it happen! This entire journey is being documented by my friend Blake McGrew to be produced into a short documentary which will be released in August.
Sunday, June 7 - Preparation
We are setting forth on an adventure. An adventure that will take us to places we've never been, places we've lived to see and probably some places we shouldn't see. Between the years of 2003 and 2010 I traveled all over the country with my band (intheclear). We lived on Spaghettios and barley made ends met. But, we inspiring thousands just by doing what we love. This tour is something that I've wanted to do for awhile, but never had the means to do it... until now. My goal is to impact hundreds of photographers and inspire them to do what I have done over the course of my career; just create good work.
Throughout the tour I will be video blogging from each city along with my cinematographer Blake McGrew, my assistant Jacob Roberts and my beautician Bethany Hood. I would love for you to come along for the ride and watch us as we take on this journey from one side of the United States to the other. If you're a photographer wanting to go the extra mile and are within these workshop zones, I urge you to come and not only support the tour, but take away valuable information that will forever change your life.
